Looking at MEL - ADL, 21st January (a Wednesday). Over two months away.

The only classic award in J is at 8:35am. The only classic awards in Y are at 6:15am or late afternoon.

More than two months in advance.

What the **** is the point of QFF any more?

Your travel date is still during school holidays and in the middle of a small tennis event.

Just because it's two months away doesn't mean anything and in fact if you look at closer dates you'll find more seats as it's not impacted by either of the above.

I can see J classic at 8.35, 10.25, and 5.25. I can also see classic plus for 11,200 which isn't a huge premium to classic. And all the Jetstar flights have availability too.

Yesterday I was able to book CR for DPO-MEL on December 21st and the return on December 30th - given the time of year I was very happy with that!

Since the start of May I have done the following CR flights -
DPO-MEL-HKG
MEL-DPO
BWT-MEL then MEL-BWT
DPO-MEL-SYD then SYD-MEL-DPO
tomorrow I am doing DPO-MEL-SYD then on Monday SYD-MEL-DPO
In early December I have DPO-MEL then MEL-DPO
then the one in late December mentioned at the start of this post.

At some stage though I do have to do some non-CR flying to get my SC's up!
