I visited the HBA Qantas Lounge once in May 2008 and I was impressed. It may look small from the outside but it has more than adequate offerings inside.

I am not sure if it gets crowded or not before Qantas flights as the 3 AFF'ers in the Qantas Lounge that day were flying Virgin.

Trust me - it gets crowded around mid PM before the daily SYD and MEL QF/JQ flights depart.
