Hilton "Extend Your Escapes" Promotion

I never have any luck with any of these so-called promotions - I must be too slow to get onto them and they get sold out?

For instance, within literally less than 2 minutes from getting this one:

"Save 25% with Conrad Koh Samui opening offer and earn 5,000 THB resort credit."

Conrad Koh Samui - Special Offer

I was on the web site checking every date within the applicable range and nothing ....

I assume its a bit like fare buckets on planes. Simply having rooms available doesn't mean that there are any available under the promotion as there is plenty of availability at the Conrad Koh Samui during this period.

You're lucky - I have not even received an email.

What's the Hilton "Extend Your Escapes" Promotion?
I'm forwarding you the email so you don't feel too left out :!: ;)

Oops  already deleted.

See post #1 for the link to the promo. The new email was essentially the same.

Now serfty, shirley you can't be serious ;)

Today I received another email for this promo and I still cannot find availability at HSW. I have not tried every day combination, just most :!: :(

Check wotif.com, then call HSW. Ask to speak to local reservation. They will be able to sort it out.

I've done that twice by email and three times now by telephone. No can do.

Also Wotif won't credit toward your stays and points, which is what I was more after.

It seems like the rates I already have are much better than what is now available in any case.

If you mean that Wotif is dearer than you can buy directly Bill, then I'd have to agree. I've seen prices directly with Hilton which is cheaper than Wotif and by going direct, you get the extra niceties!

My experience was totally different, called the central reservation and was told to just book on wotif.com. Asked to be transferred to local reservation and a really nice lady immediately sorted the issue and matched wotif.com.

I had a confirmed upgrade to the Yarra Suite as well which was displayed on my booking (I paid for the cheapest room)!

I managed to get the Extend your Escape promotion at Queenstown in late December (bargain actually)... but I guess occupancy rates are a bit lower. A colleague also got it at Adelaide in October - however the offer seems to only be linked to weekends?
