I am looking for assistance to improve my backhand but it is rather urgent. Given my latest return flight to Australia, in July, has now been cancelled - again, I have lost count of the number of cancellations now - I have hit upon the plan to enter the Australian Open. It does seem jolly easy to get home that way, and I get to thrash a tennis ball around a suite in the Grand Hyatt for a few days, when I am not outside on court, which appears to be all rather jolly.

Now cricket is my game, I always find a tennis court a touch on the small size, damned ball keeps flying beyond those silly white lines. (Never a problem with the old willow on ball.) Coaching will need to be via one of these new fangled film meetings and I am prepared to share my winnings from the Open.

Good idea. I think Tony Hancock should quickly dash off an autobiography, sell give it to someone in Hollywood, get a script done, and promise the NSW or QLD govt squillions and employment of the cast of Ben Hur if they'd let the whole motley crew in. I think that would be a faster outcome than TH improving his backhand. Oops ... did I say that out loud?
