On Sunday 19 June 2016, a wet day in both BNE and SYD, HA452, the 2120 hours SYD - HNL took off at 2148 and should arrive about 34 minutes late at 1134, same day. Aircraft is A332 N380HA.

On Monday 15 August, HA451 is running about 31 minutes late with arrival in SYD ex HNL likely 31 minutes behind schedule at 1951. Aircraft is A332 N475HA. It is fairly unusual for this airline to be unpunctual into and out of Oz.

Due to the late arrival on 15 August of HA451 ex HNL, HA452 (which is also VA5100 codeshare) has been altered to depart at 0900 hours on Tuesday 16 August rather than 2120 tonight ex SYD for HNL. At least an 0900 hours departure allows passengers and crew to (in theory) obtain a reasonable night's sleep provided they don't get to their hotel too late.

Thanks serfty. First time I had experienced a 'closed' thread.

On Monday 3 December 2018, A332 N389HA (that AFF member Silvia reported had diverted back to HNL on its outbound flight yesterday) on Tuesday 4 sees it having taken off from SYD as HA452 (probably HA452D - 'D' for 'delayed') at 0807 with HNL arrival estimated at 2045 hours on Monday evening instead of the usual 1040 hours morning arrival.

Late on Saturday 8 December 2018, HA452 (A332 N393HA), the scheduled 2140 hours mid evening SYD up to HNL did not take off until 2257 - almost breaching curfew - so arrival is estimated at 1135 same day, 55 late.

Monday 10th of Dec, HA451 HNL-SYD 12 00 service (N386HA) departed until 14 35, arrival is delayed to 21 42, 117 tardy. It's going to be a close fight against the curfew for HA452 today.

The first part doesn't make sense. What you may mean is 'did not depart until 1435.'

Under the current Federal government, it seems that the curfew restrictions are being interpreted in favour of airlines (and their passengers!) more, provided in the case of departures they can take off to the south. However a 2142 touchdown - and hence about a 2147 arrival at the gate - is cutting it extremely fine for an aircraft of that size and passenger numbers.

Tuesday 18 December 2018 sees HL452, the 2140 hours mid evening from SYD up to HNL not taking off until 2257 hours, and hence just scraping in a liftoff prior to the 2300 hours curfew. Arrival should be same day at 1132 hours, 52 late for A332 N360HA.

HA451 was another Friday 8 February early to mid evening Sydney arrival caught by the summer storms with A332 N385HA having to hold above the Tasman Sea. Arrival should be at 2041 hours, 56 late, delaying the outbound departure timetabled for 2140 hours.

Thursday 14th of March sees Hawaiian Airlines making an appearance at Melbourne airport as HA451 HNL-SYD (A333 N389HA) is currently diverting to MEL due to poor weather in Sydney.

The usually punctual HA451 HNL-SYD (A332 N380HA) was airborne at 14 32, as such arrival is revised at 20 57, 72 behind schedule.

This means HA452, the 2140 hours redeye from SYD back to HNL is likely to be delayed in pushback to around the 2215 hours mark, all being well.

Friday 9 August 2019 has been challenging operationally in both SYD and MEL so it's unsurprising that HA451, the HNL down to SYD (A332 N370HA) was as at 2008 still on approach to SYD where its at gate arrival should be 38 late at 2023 hours.

HA is often punctual to and from OZ but the Sunday 8 September 2019 SYD to HNL scheduled 2140 hours mid evening depature was delayed overnight. On Monday 9, A332 N375HA took off at 0940 hours, so arrival same day should be 2313 instead of 1130 hours.

Friday 15 November 2019 finds HA451 - mostly on time - arriving SYD (ex HNL) at 2017, 32 late with A332 N379HA.

HA452 (Thursday 19 November 2020 during coronavirus, the scheduled 2140 hours night flight from SYD to HNL, was cancelled.

On Sunday 5 June 2022, the mid evening 2140 hours SYD - HNL HA452 is predicted to depart half an hour late.

With numerous delays affecting inbounds due to the abysmal weather in Sydney (heavy rain), outbound HA452 (A332 N374HA) as the 2140 hours SYD up to HNL had not departed by 2222 hours.
