Perhaps I should have stuck to "Out Of Office" to avoid confusion or cause offence...that certainly wasn't my intention.
Clearly not, since you're not "Out of Office" (virtually) if you're posting here at 10:35pm on xmas eve!!!! :D

Thank you all for the kind words and good wishes for the year ahead. I'm enjoying the start of my holiday singing along to Carols by Candlelight!

I'll choose to take that as you enjoy reading AFF as part of your holiday while singing along to Carols.....

no no. we all appreciate your wishes.

Now take a break!!!! :)

Happy Christmas RedRoo. While my QF travels have been trouble free this year, it's good to know you're proactive about helping when things don't go so well. I'd also like to offer a hearty thanks to the QF staff working during this time of year when most of us get a holiday. I certainly appreciate your efforts.

and as this seems to be the main Christmas thread, a happy and safe Christmas to all the AFFers. My first year (okay, part year) has boosted my knowledge, seen me crack silver for the first time, join the QP, attend my first AFF event, made new friends, and enjoy my flying so much more. Isn't that what it's all about!

Merry Christmas Red Roo to you, your team and family!

We've had a great year with QF and and appreciate all that your team does, along with the P1 team who support me all the time. Helen and Gaye in particular are just wonderful.

Enhancement highlights for me include the P1 changes, boxed dinners, retimed MEL-LHR flight and the improvement in priority boarding over 2014. I also loved the cheeky op-ups from the P1 team with the boarding pass messages. The QF wine show in MEL was one of the best days we had all year... and flying to LHR in F for a Christmas holiday (we're now in Munich) was such a lovely way to end my flying year. We're expecting snow on Christmas night and after a few weeks skiing in Austria looking forward to flying home in mid-Jan with EK to Dubai and then QF to MEL.

In 2015, looking forward to more adventures with QF, and particularly the new J lounge in PER :)

All the best to you and your family Red Roo. Thanks for your help.

But I am also trying to work out the positive enhancements for me.

There's many to choose from!

Umm..urghh... Oh.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Red Roo!

Merry Christmas to Red Roo and everyone on this board. Having spent all day cooking I am enjoying relaxing and reading this very pleasant thread before going to sleep ready for another morning in the kitchen and then lots of bubbles. :)

Merry Christmas to Red Roo & the entire team at Qantas.

Trust you have a chance to unwind & relax at some point over the festive period.

It has certainly been a year of change at the flying Kangaroo & I sense that we are beginning to see major improvements into the overall profitability of the company & prosperity of all the business units.

All being well, with that comes more new routes launched ( crossing my fingers SYD > YVR becomes a permanent addition to the route map: ) & maybe, just maybe , some new airplanes announced for Qantas International in the near future.

Enjoy your time off!

Cheers :)

Merry Christmas to Red Roo and the associated team. Even though I haven't required the assistance of Red Roo, I was fortunate to score the Leslie Lunch.

It is always interesting to read what QF has to say through Red Roo.

Anyway it's still Christmas Eve here in Manchester but I know it's now Christmas in Australia, so I hope Santa was kind to you all.

Just remember whilst you Sydneysiders are out watching the New Years Eve fireworks, we will be lighting up own due to UK laws allowing us to have purchased them from Tesco

I'll be on one of the last flights in 2014 and back on board on the 3rd Jan and as always look forward to the experience.

Sure the enhancements haven't gone our way however domestically I still feel @ home on QF.

Merry Christmas to you and the team Red Roo.

Dear AFFers,

As promised in last year’s Out Of Office post, it’s certainly been an eventful year!

While I appreciate that some members were faced with challenges over the past 12 months, you’d have to agree that there have been many positive “enhancements” along the way too. ;)

I look forward to sharing more customer experiences and initiatives with you in the new year, including products and services that are world firsts in our industry.

Hopefully you’ve found my engagement on AFF to be useful, and I hope to continue in assisting and supporting the community wherever possible.

Only a short break for Red Roo this year; I’ll be back online Thursday, 1 January 2015. However in the interim, I’ll be keeping a close eye on the B767 thread and living vicariously through your posts!

From our home to yours, wishing you a safe and happy Christmas. See you again in the New Year!

Red Roo,

Merry Christmas from Bolivia. Sitting here at 1810 on Christmas Eve and listening to Air Supply.

I trust you are having a great time and are going to get full value from your short time off.

Thanks for the things that you have personally done for me and please ignore those who don't know when to lay off the inappropriate digs and when to be polite.

Here is to a great 2015.

Merry Christmas all and to you too Red Roo.

Thank you for your participation this year, hope to see it continue next year.

All the best and enjoy your break! :)

Red Roo(s), merry christmas and hope you are having a well deserved break. Despite some unpopular changes to QFF this year, your presence and assistance to everyone here is unique to any airline and have been greatly appreciated by me. Hope to be able to meet some of the Red Roos in 2015. Have a safe and enjoyable break everyone.:p

Merry Christmas Red Roo and thank you for your support of the AFF community in so many different ways. May 2015 be a wonderful year for you and your family.

I do hope Qantas knows that your work here is long and arduous and extremely valuable.

Merry Christmas, Red Roo and team!

I am very much looking forward to spending the remainder of my Christmas Day with the QF family on my way to Europe this evening!

Thanks for your ongoing support and assistance. Here's to an exciting 2015 with a stronger, bigger flying kangaroo!

A bit of a late greeting from me, but a Merry Christmas and also, hoping for a great 2015.
QP PERd is great for plane watching, one of the best.
And let me say, with a close of my dissetation about QP, I am now satisfied.

Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten about that blow. There are still a couple of nails that need hammering down....

Merry Christmas to RedRoo and all AFFers, from a mostly-lurker who enjoy reading posts from so many familiar names on a daily basis. :)
