Wow! Very generous Matt. I have no upcoming trips so not throwing my hat in the ring, but can imagine how excited the lucky winner will be :) F lounge is a bucket list item for me (one day...)

Hi Matt,

Really kind of you to put this out there!

I just booked economy QF1 SYD-LHR flights for my wife yesterday (how good are the prices right now) for 27th Feb departure as she is making an urgent visit to her unwell mother prior to surgery.
As you can imagine, she's a bit stressed now so a visit to the First lounge in Sydney would be a nice surprise and a good way to wind down a touch prior to the long flight (via SIN).

Cheers.

Nat

A mate and his wife are heading to AKL for their 50th anniversary in a few wks. Would be cool if they could have 1 as they are one short.

Will send their details if you chose them as worthy recipients.

Thanks again for the generous offer!

I have no use for these and the immediate family cannot use them and if I do not give these away it is likely that I will forget about them and they will expire.

Like most of my "free stuff" posts there are a few of conditions, being:
  • AFF member for at least 3 months,
  • Preference given to active members with 25+ posts.
  • Preference given to members who can use these at a F lounge
  • Must have a firm departure date (already booked) from a port with a QF F lounge (SYD, MEL, LAX, SIN). To use these passes flights must be QF numbered and operated, see the QF T's and C's below.
  • I may ask for screen shot of the booking to satisfy myself that they will be genuinely used.
  • The recipient(s) will need to provide me their QFF details (name and QFF no.) to transfer.
If you are not comfortable with the last 2 bullet points please don't ask for them.

Please do not send PM, I will not respond just indicate interest and post details. Also not fussed if they go to 2 different AFF members or 1 AAF with a travelling companion. Can I ask when posting a reply can you please indicate:
  • Departure Location
  • QF Flight number
  • Total number of travellers
  • If you are after 1 or 2 passes
The QF Rules and other information lifted from the QF website.
  • The complimentary lounge invitations terms and conditions, and the Quick Guide on how to use the lounge invitations.
  • P1 – Benefit – can be used at any Qantas Club domestic lounge, Qantas International Lounge, Qantas operated International Business Lounge (excluding Los Angeles Tom Bradley International Terminal) and Qantas International First Lounge when departing on a Qantas or Jetstar flight number.
Oh Wow! I have never been in first class lounge. It would be an amazing experience. We are travelling QF49 from Melbourne. 2 adults 2 kids. I would love 2 passes.

Matt with the goods once again. Giving away Velocity Plat and now 2x F lounge visits. Unfortunately I can't put my hand up for this one, we are only travelling Domestic for my dad + uncles bday into Sydney. Going to meetup with Beau Ryan and Freddy Fittler for lunch, their idols of NRL.

I currently have no use for these passes but would just like to acknowledge your generosity and thoughtfulness in making this offer to fellow AFF'ers. I had a similar situation a while back, although not in the same class as yours and I also thought it better to offer up my passes on this site. Best someone use such passes, rather than have them lapse for no real good reason.

Once again, well done, good to see
Rono

Love you longtime:

Hello,

I asked the Mods to reopen this thread. @SydneySwan reached out to myself to let me know that their travel plans had been interrupted and can no longer use the passes and returned them. I have put in a request to SST to see if the expiry date can be extended and if they can SydneySwan will be given the option to use them.

In the mean time if anyone will be able to use these they be up for grabs again. I would prefer them to be used rather than go to waste. Best options would be SYD, MEL or LAX. SIN is currently closed.

Just put you hand up if you would like to be considered and can genuinely use them. They expire on 9 Jul 20

Hey @Matt_01
Would love to throw my hat in the ring again!

My partner an my trip is being cut short - and would love a nice way to end the trip on a high. (Currently in New Orleans where they have closed all bars and restaurants). Flying out of LAX either tomorrow 17th or Thursday 19th.

Either way - thanking you.

I assume you are talking local date/ time these need to be linked at least 24 hrs prior to the fight and if your flight is changing you may run into issues.

Hey @Matt_01 - yes - local time!

Will confirm flight details shortly (still waiting on a confirm if we can change our flight or not) - and will let you know regardless!

Hi Matt,
My daughter is currently in Jakarta for uni.
she is being routed to come home via Singapore this wed night.
After being away from family for a month, she is now so upset that she will be in isolation for another 2 weeks on her return.
I would love it lf she could go to the Singapore lounge as she has a 4 hour stopover, and travelling on her own.
Btw, she is not unwell or have any symptoms at all. I understand that it is a government directive for her isolation regardless though.
Her flight from Singapore to Melbourne is this Wednesday night

ps... I thought the Singapore Lounge was still currently open ??

thanks
Pippi
