Getting children into EK lounge?

You're very welcome :)
Please report back how it goes.
On our first pass through DXB I had no trouble whatsoever but on the second pass through Shrek had the kids by himself and it was then that a supervisor was called for and confirmed instantly that they all had access.
I also know several WP's outside AFF who have guested their kids in without fuss.

Do you mind if I ask how many kids it was? Two?

Mrs C and the kids are all booked in J, so not sure if that will help. But if all else fails we can while away some hours in the business lounge. Just wanted Mrs C to be able to enjoy a spa treatment in the First lounge. I guess I can get her in and then go straight back to the J lounge with the kids.

How old are your sons?
IME as WP flying F was able to get my two girls (aged 9 and 11 and flying J on QF) into the EK Lounge at DXB.
I don't think you'll have a problem providing the kids aren't adults.

Spot on, I just returned from LHR (flying QF 1/2), I didn't have any issues getting into the EK F lounge with the Mrs, and a 3YO and 10YO. We were flying Y. There were no hitches at all, passes were scanned and we were waived in.

No issues at the BA F lounge either, other than the lounge was very quiet and looking a bit tired.

Great to hear YQY. Let's hope I get my third child in as well. Will be on EK metal on a Qantas issued EK ticket, so hope that will still be okay. Ironic, if I have reduced guesting rights being on EK :(. I'll be in F and the rest of the family in J, separate bookings but same flight.

And before anyone accuses me of breaking the golden rule of always allowing your beloved have the better seat/cabin/class....Mrs Colrad will be in F on the forward leg. :)

Was accepted into the DXB EK F lounge in Concourse B with 1 x 13 y/o, 1 x 7 y/o on Monday. This didn't go completely smoothly as one of the passes didn't scan (probably the overage daughter). She allowed us in anyway as she said the rule was one adult and their children.

I didn't try to get my 15 y/o into the lounge, I just gave her some cash and arranged to meet at the gate. She'd already been into the new "First" section of the Menzies lounge in Prague on the preceding sector.

Thanks Greenfish,

All three of my kids are travelling as full fare 'adults' (12, 14, 16) so will see how we go and report back,

Cheers.

Flying last Friday - Friday 24th June 2016 - took Wife & 3 sons, now 12, 10 & 4 with me on EK434 and went to guest into QF lounge (no point walking to gate 75 to try on EK lounge). Let in lounge and boarding passes brought by lounge angel after doing paperwork - as normal.

However upon coming to give the boarding passes back to me in the QF lounge - she informed me that being EK Gold only allowed me one guest spot total - that she would let it slide and let us stay - but just letting me know that I was only actually allowed one guest spot.

In reading the QF rules for QF Gold - the rules state Gold are allowed one guest over 18 years, and allowed two children guest 4-17 years, and unlimited under 3 years - so I am now pushing things on the Children front even under QF rules.

However - has the rules changed for EK PAX in QF lounges? Or was she miss guided? Or was the allowance of EK PAX in QF lounges with Children the same now as it always has been with more discretion used to apply QF Gold Rules onto EK Gold members around Children?
