Luckily my house is all single storey.
Eventually have to make the bathroom an "accessible one"

Many of our neighbours are getting lifts installed in their homes as they get older and less mobile. We had a group visit us and most of them have placed lift orders now for their two and three level homes. It means that they can live longer at their homes.

I know someone who fell down the partially built lift well in their home in the middle of the night. Almost killed them.

Recently found out that a friend from RAAF Pilots Course dies recently. Cause was Lung Cancer even though he was never a smoker.

Friend died in her thirties from small cell lung cancer. Never smoked. But passive smoking abounded in those days. Even the state cricketers were handed out cartons of cigarettes from Benson and Hedges every time they played. Major sponsors back then. She was a cricketers wife.
