What, don't underpants serve as well as a facemask? ;)

Or are there too many Scotsmen out and about freeballing?
Yes just a bit ridiculous.
If wearing underpants and an outer layer of clothing I doubt there would be a virus liberated into the atmosphere.
Though i would be a bit wary of a renato in budgie smugglers. o_O :D ;)

Randwick council from today allowing people on to the beaches (does not incl Bondi which has one of the biggest CV outbreaks).
No sitting down, max group size of 2, 1.5 m apart. I expect many people to take this up and will be interested to see how it goes. 😐

We have not had any issues with our beaches down here in SA. Able to sit on the sand, in groups as long as distance is kept. Same on the boardwalks and adjacent gardens. Seems to have worked and weather turning cooler now so no longer an issue here.

Not an issue here today as well.

It could be that either people are well behaved or just a remote possibly because its 11 degrees, raining and blowing a gale 🥶

Just realised that Stuart Roberts is the one in charge of managing this tracing app. Roberts is the one who so expertly managed the 'Robodebt' scheme that caused so much angst and aggrievement and almost suicides due to it's absolutely woeful implementation and management way past the time it should have been fixed.
He then went on more recently to conceded he had failed to appreciate the scale of demand that would be placed on Centrelink's website due to the CV problems.
(I won't be listing all the other mistakes he has made).

Anyway, I will not be downloading as I can tell on one hand who many people outside my immediate family I have spent 15 mins with.

Barnaby was quoted in the papers on the w/e that he and quite a few others LNP members will refuse to install it since they don't want government intrusion into their lives. Love it.:)

I did say that. This is a criticism of somebody who should not be managing such things. No matter what political party they may or may not be in.
I still will not be doing that app with someone of that calibre in charge.

Didn't you just say "I feel AFF has been more friendly recently. Maybe that’s because we’re not so much discussing politics directly or indirectly. " 😁

We will be downloading - it’s no big deal and you can delete it and the data afterwards. There is no geolocation involved. Anything that can help keep a lock on community transmission and get us all out if this nightmare and allow those without jobs to start working again, is worth it.

Boss is asking if I want to return to the office 1 or 2 days per week at this stage.

Told him I thought we were staying home until end of May. What are your thoughts?

Depends on how many are going back. If they are rotating people so the office is half empty and there is proper social distancing etc, it’s probably OK. If you were in Canberra I wouldn’t hesitate, but given Sydney had been a bit of a hotspot, maybe it’s a little early.

My area, about 40. I can very much keep to myself and was a germaphobe before this so I dont see the rush, happy to wait until end of May.

A couple in my team are a really struggling not being in the office. I dont get it but one is really climbing the walls.

Hubby has been going in to work every day. Many are working from home so he only sees the cleaner and a couple of other people.

He's probably done more to promote the apps use amongst government policy 'skeptics' than anyone 🙂 .
