Qantas will increase the surcharge on its international airfares to offset the rising cost of fuel. The new charges will be effective on tickets issue on or after Thursday, August 9.
The fuel surcharge will rise by between $5 and $15 dollars, one-way, on various flights.

Wow! That is not something I expected anytime soon considering their profit forecasts of over $1 billion.

When are they going to get realistic and include the fuel costs in the base airfare? After all it is an operating cost and not a surcharge.
