Wow - has the oil price jumped recently?
Yes. In terms of A$ its gone from A$63.68 on 22nd January, up to A$91.74 today (based on US$77.76 and A$ exchange rate of 0.8476.

Wow! That is not something I expected anytime soon considering their profit forecasts of over $1 billion.

When are they going to get realistic and include the fuel costs in the base airfare? After all it is an operating cost and not a surcharge.

Only when they are legally required to (i.e. No time soon).
