Frequency of flybuys promotions...

Has anyone recieved a lot of flybuys invitations lately?? I have been getting either a coles / liquorland triple / double point offer or a coles / coles express offer. I have been getting the invitations every week on the Thursday for the past 2 months without fail!

Most weeks I receive something. This week it is triple points.

Mind you, their base rate is on the low side, so I think they can have promotions. And since EDR is not offering much useful at the moment, they are winning my custom!

I've received offers every week for the last couple of months. Sometimes I have email offers and paper coupons for the same weekend. The offers mainly come on Thursdays but sometimes they come on other days.

What coles express offers have you been getting?

I get the coles offers all the time and occasionally liquorland and first choice. I haven't had a coles express offer but I occasionally get petrol there. I'm wondering what sort of offers are out there for coles express. I'm guessing they're not suited to my spending pattern and that's why I'm not getting them. Of course, I don't know why I get the liquorland offers or the first choice offers. I've only bought something once at liquorland in the last two years and I've never purchased anything at first choice.

I have just recieved my NAB flybuys rewards credit card today - so now my points are going to go sky high!!

on our flybuys, the NAB points very slowly. Plus not getting many offers lately.

I charge anywhere between 3k and 10k a month on my card - and about 2k of that is at coles orientated places - will wait and see how quick the points go up

I had been getting Flybuys offers every week-up to 3 some weeks.Then I came to Tasmania to work where i always shop at Coles because Woollies doesn't think Tassie is part of australia and the offers dried up.
However for a month it is 8 cents off if spending $30.As we will be driving back to QLD I have not had a shop over $40-but all over $30.

Off hand I think that EDR does not do Tassie? They have something else there? I am trying to think what though - only going vagely what a friend told me a while ago.

Your better off getting the Coles MasterCard CC. You get 2 points for every $1 you spend on your Coles MasterCard everywhere.

Sorry, I think I misinterpreted what you were saying. When you said you were getting coles express offers I thought you meant you were getting offers for spending a certain amount at coles express instore in addition to your petrol cost. I have been getting high value fuel voucher offers from coles every 3-4 weeks. I thought I had their pattern figured out but my calculations were out one week on their last offer. I thought there was going to be a high value fuel voucher offer on the first weekend of October but they did it a week early and it fell on a weekend where I couldn't take up the offer because I wasn't anywhere near a coles that weekend.

Thats right EDR cards are not recognised in Tassie apart now from Big W-but the nearest one is 60KM away.

Your better off getting the Coles MasterCard CC. You get 2 points for every $1 you spend on your Coles MasterCard everywhere.

That would have been the card I would have got except I have high amounts of enquiries on my credit file and I am waiting for all those to drop off (another 3 years to go)

I have received a couple of offers every week for about a month now. Bi-Lo is our closest supermarket and we tend to favour this store.

Every spend over $30 also produces docket offers such as a free bottle of wine when you purchase the same type from Liquorland and 8c per L petrol discount

My partner and I both got fuel voucher offers. I am still waiting for my coupons in the mail and I'm hoping my partner gets a set as well.
