Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

What is the current thinking on the best way to train the bot to reduce spend? Am away for 6 weeks and the offers are getting higher not lower so want to start training it again when I get home
I have not signed up to 2 x 4 week spends ($140 each time) and various single spend offers (5200 for $130/140) and to date it has not made any impact on the bot at all. I have shopped maybe once a month in that period. I am feeling ignored.
Also I cancelled the coles plus membership I've had just 2 months b/c it did not result in any additional bonuses and I was struggling to make back the $7 monthly cost.

5,200 bonus points when you spend $130 in one transaction in-store or online at Coles - spend Wed-Fri this week
Similar here. I'm hoping to get a similar offer on Thursday for Fri-Sun and then stack them. But from memory the first offer was Tue-Thur, so maybe not a thing anymore.

Does not signing up help? I always sign up, even if I intend to ignore. My theory is they know I know about the offer, but it is not enough to entice me, so they should lower it next time.

FWIW I do too. I think it still requires a few weeks of low spending for the algorithm to take the hint regardless...

Woolworths want me to spend $220 this week for 500 points. Spend half that and get ten times more points at Coles. Tough choice!

Woolworths are only giving out generous offers once every few months. I’d rather they scrap the 10% then and reinvest back into point offers.

Just finished a 4 x 60 for 10000 and a 4 x 70 for 10000 and offered 4800 for $120 so will probably pass
