Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

10,000pts for $50 each week for 4 weeks. Yes we will do this. Hoping a couple of spend $70 get 2,000pts or the like come up along the way to further bolster this offer.

10,000 points for $50 per week/4 weeks
Same for me. They have recently offered the same points for more expenditure but for one person its a joke and they eventually go back to the offer I have done previously. Its a waiting game but now its here I am not sure I will take it up because buying much of my requirements at Aldi means I easily save at least $2.50 a week which is the equivalent of the $10 I get from the 10,000 points. They need to try harder or reduce their prices.

Offer: 10,000 points for $60 per week/4 weeks
Obviously shopping every 2 weeks has raised the $ value when I do visit. But cost of driving to the store has also doubled (~$20 almost 90km) Which cuts down the incentive for local wandering

10,000 points for 4 x $200 shops.

They've got to be kidding, not going to happen, and will keep me in Woolies clutches.

What are they thinking?

Same but we will be away for week 4.

Nothing here for few weeks.
Since I transferred few hundred K to velocity, no idea if that's relevant.

Odd to not get offers for this long.

$35 for 4 weeks on baby stuff nappies etc for 7.5k points, clearly some data analytics happened in Coles back room.

10,000 points for $50 per week x 4 weeks for my cat (LOL).

Add that to a EDR $50 x 4 weeks for 6,000 points (not as good) which I’m already started and it’s raining offers right now.

They're possibly thinking back to you buying some gift cards, or other discounted items on sale this time last year or the year before 😅

Edit: Just got mine at 10k for 4x$80. Must have shopped at woolies last July.

Surprised to see both wife and I receive this offer considering my targets have been $120, $110 and $80 and wife has been $90.

As an aside I've been saving the Flybuys points on both accounts for fun. Wife has 120,000 Flybuys and I have 100,000 Flybuys. Hope they dont go belly up.

10k points is worth $50 not $10.
Yes of course you are correct. Even at $12.50 a week return on spend I would have difficulty sourcing groceries etc exclusively from Coles and making the $40 requirement in one shop each week.

From Virgin? Poor conversion.

So I basically have $1100 cash. Can I somehow get better value out of travel?

I haven't checked yet but I wonder if I could purchase an economy return to Thailand from Flybuys.

4 x $50 for 10,000 pts which will stack first week with a $30 for 1,200 pts.

You could but would likely be no better value than cashing the Flybuys out at Coles.
Best value IMO is to convert to VA and buy awards from there
