Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I too got a 4 X $100 for 15K, the 1st week of which will be next Sat or Sun, today was just a small shop of $33 which gave me a triple points docket, I also have the general spend $100 and get $15 off your shop.

The question I have is if I spend $100 to meet the week 1 target, will it knock $15 off so I have only spent $85?, So I actually have to spend $115 to get to the $100 target.

Okay, the current general promotion in Victoria is spend $100 and get $15 off your next shop (not the qualifying shop). I will answer your questions based on the second shop where the $15 comes off. This amount will count as a discount so the total after the discount will be the one which flybuys uses to determine if you have qualified for the offer. You will need to get $115 worth of groceries in order for your final total to be over $100 and qualify for one week of your 4 week promotion.

Be very careful with the dates of your 4 week promotion. The first week starts today and lasts for 9 days.

Yesterday, used a lot more of the Father's Day promo $100 gift prepaid cards to pay the billy lid's tax. One was declined and the Coles answer to my complaint is that it has not been activated. I explained that I bought a lot of them. The buyer (me) has no way to reconcile that card with the receipts, only their accounts dept can. I have photographed every receipt and emailed to them and they will go through them all. I said, 'good luck with that', there are quite a few of them. ;)

I did check that there were the req'd number of cards on the receipts to tally with the 1000s of dollars charges. This will be interesting. My only concern is that maybe I have missed a receipt.

I kept all of my receipts as well at the time of purchase.

And on the day of purchase I logged into https://psc.colesprepaidcards.com.au/ and checked to make sure that every card was activated.

I just received this email
Time is nearly up to redeem this great offer!

By clicking the Redeem Now button you can easily get $10 to spend on fuel and/or items in-store at Shell Coles Express by redeeming 2,000 points on one transaction only.

Simply follow these steps...
1
Click Redeem Now
2
Spend $10.05 or more in one transaction only on any fuel and/or items in-store by Thu 20 October 2016
3
Present your flybuys card when you shop
4
2,000 flybuys points will be redeemed and $10 will be instantly taken off your transaction
Offer valid until Thu 20 Oct 2016

Not quite sure what the deal of this is. I thought the 2000 points for $10 is always available and not time limited... Am I missing something?

You can always convert 2000 points to $10 flybuys dollars which you need to use the card and a pin to redeem in store. This email suggests you can click for the $10 credit (for your existing 2000 points) to be loaded onto your card and then triggered when you go to Coles Express. I don't know if this will come off as payment method or a discount. It sounds like the Credit card deal where it comes off as a discount. This has implications if you are using the transaction to qualify for other targeted offers. It sounds like this promotion will be limited to purchases at Coles Express rather than any major flybuys partner.

You're exactly right :) It's intended as a more direct option than converting points to flybuys Dollars. It will be applied as a discount rather than being treated as a payment method, and yes, it can be used at Coles Express only.

Ah ok, gotcha! Guess I have never been interested in the 2000 points convert enough to understand the difference :) Thank you!

This is just an additional way to redeem your points. Since 2k points always = $10 there is no additional bonus being provided in that you are not gaining any additional value for redeeming your points. The 'offer' email is melodramatic and somewhat disingenuous as calling it an 'offer' implies that additional value is being delivered.

Our new coupons arrived in the post this week.

Odd weeks 500 points for $50 spend
Even weeks triple points
Christmas week 750 points for $80 spend

I should be able to use most of the weekly coupons. They will work well with the 4 week offer targets which are around $50.

The first coupon can be used in the next 2 weeks while all the coupons filter through Australia post.

There were a few Coles product based coupons but nothing really useful for us.

Was frustrated when I had to do a $130 shop on monday and hadn't received my booklet yet. Good to know I will (hopefully) be able to do my next shop next week and still use week 1 coupon :)

I guess mine is due sometime this week then. Not looking forward to seeing how much my offers have been pushed up after taking up the Father's Day gift card promotion in a big way.

Received mine today. 1,000 points for $100 spend, same as my previous booklet. 1,500 points for $130 in Christmas week. All of the other dockets are coles brand rip offs of things I usually buy.

Might hit this during my 4x$100 week offer, hopefully by the end of that Woolies has enticed me back over. I think my average spend is creeping a bit too high - docket deals are averaging $130 now.
