Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

well, I put in about 45 litres every fortnight. So 45x26=1170 Litres. 1170x0.04=46.80 in savings
Which is why I choose points on EDR instead of fuel savings as it works out to be 2340 points for less than $50

Of course, these are just rough figures.

Ok. I do about 80 litres per week. So that's about 8000 pts ( I have just recently changed to points v discount) and I pay with Amex, and I get a tax deduction anyway.

It also assumes that there's a fuel voucher to be used, which there hasn't been at times!

Target have really gotten into the flybuys spirit lately. There have been several general offers and today I received a targetted offer for triple points on Toys for the first week of the big toy sale.

500 bonus points for $40 spend this week. That's not too bad! Also the usual triple points at Liquorland...

500 points seems to be the magic number this week. I have to spend $100 to get mine and I can use it multiple times. The good news is that I need about $100 of groceries based on the regular shopping plus stocking up on the specials. I should be able to save another $5 using a Tell Coles voucher.

My 500 points is for $70 of spending.

Not going to be easy as my last few shops have been sub $40.

I getthe feeling Coles and Woolies target families more than singles. With single households the fastest growing I do wonder if their missing ot on an opportunity.

Woolies certainly is with the $30 limit before earning any QF points. Flybuys certainly rewards me a lot better for my small weekly shops.

Same. Add that to a targeted 1k bonus points for >$40 Telstra pre-paid spend in addition to the 9pts/$ bonus, and this has been a killer week. With the aforementioned offers and those already used I will have banked nearly 2.75k in points this month, solely on Coles spend - and that's the biggest month yet.

Can't say I agree with you on this. I'm a two person household, but according to the Flybuys data I'm a single household.

I'm lucky to spend more than $200/ft at Coles, but the vouchers and targeted offers I get just keep stacking up and up.

I'm averaging at least 1-2 targeted offers per week by email, and each receipt (about 6-8 a week, shopping pattern is a few days at a time) has at least two docket deals included. Most I've had is three, and each docket deal normally averages ~200pts value. Quite a few of the docket deal items are things i'd usually buy, and may only be a once-off brand change which costs no more than ~20-30c over a usual item I'd purchase.

I can justify using them as it's only a once-off change, and I've already saved a few dollars on my basket elsewhere so it doesn't adjust my shopping budget.

No targeted offer for me this week. I was hoping for a petrol voucher offer as I could have come up with about $100 in purchases stocking up for a party in a couple of weeks. I'll probably spend around $50 at Coles this weekend to take advantage of the specials and do top up shopping. I hope I get a good offer next week.

Coles and Woolworths are having a big petrol discount war at the moment. Both have not lifted the prices for a number of weeks and they say, they have been selling it at a loss. Do not expect to see any vouchers from either I suspect for a while.

Did anyone else get a targeted offer for bonus points if you got your car serviced at Kmart Tyre and Auto before the end of September? This is the longest time period I have seen a targeted offer go for. Given the type of offer it is I guess they need a long period of time for members to take advantage of it as most people only get their car serviced once a year. The offer is for 5000 bonus points so I am currently shopping around to see who can service my car cheaply to see if the bonus points are worth it.

my 500 points from the last promo hasn't come through.

last time was $70 for 5000. this time is $90

difficult to spend that much after going a bit crazy last week.

I wonder why Flybuys have increased the amount some people have to spend to get the 500 points. I'm guessing I was lucky they left mine at $100. I've calculated my spending out so I should only spend just over $100, possibly $101 or $102 after My5 and Tell coles discounts have been taken off. I don't want them increasing my bonus level.
