Question Five Star Alliance - anyone heard about or used them before?

Hi all,

I've come across an OTA called "Five Star Alliance" that say they have 'preferred relationships' with thousands of hotels across the globe and allows them to provide packages and perks similar to what Virtuoso offers, the difference being it looks like these perks can also be available on some prepaid & promotional rates - which makes it very intriguing.

They do have a valid IATA number, have featured in Forbes and Travel + Leisure on numerous occasions in the past year and also have a good Trustpilot rating (but not many reviews 320 odd), but I'm still hesitant to go ahead with any bookings.

Am I being irrational? And has anybody heard about this company, or more importantly used them? If so, what was your experience like?
