First Lounge in Sydney

In the SYD First Lounge for the last hour or so.

I tried the salt and pepper squid with the green chilli thingy which is a little too green chilli for my liking. It is not too bad but could not get the taste the first time so I ordered a second serving. It isn't bad at all but I would not describe is the best squid I have ever had.

I have now tried all 3 champagnes as well. They all taste the same to me!

Tatt is most defts the champagne of choice for breakfast, irrespective of how you have your eggs, in either Flounge.

To (attempt) to stay OT, I prefer the Eggs Florentine.

On a JQ FLounge run, John? ;) ;) ;)
I think most on AFF know me better than that. ;)

And I would hazard a guess and say that will be one my last SYD FLounge visits for a while unless QF does a backflip on international service and connections or they restore domestic flights from international terminal life QF73/74, QF187 etc....

We were there a few hours earlier John. (left at 1230)

To answer the query that people have about using the F lounge when flying FJ to NAN. There was no issue at all with entry even though the Qantas boarding pass showed an FJ flight.

I agree...

yum, yum, yum...

Just had the same , it was awful, changed it for the sweet corn fritters, which were "ok".

The eggs were Twice cooked, in water infused with vinegar ( unnecessary if you know how to poach an egg) Muffin soggy, too much ham and I don't know what they were thinking with the bernaise.

Having said all that, the F lounge is certainly a cut above the ordinary, and I am enjoying he overall experience.
I am looking forward to an afternoon or evening experience.

The champagne is nice, tattinger. although I still think I am more of a veuve man myself.

I prefer the lounges in HKG with QF and HKG where they do wonton noodle soup to order in a few different styles. They should that in at SYD and MEL too.
