What I might do if I get upgraded and that is confirmed - I might call the lounge directly to see if I can prebook - though quite what I would do in a Spa I dont know...

Interesting and OT but how many blokes would/do go to a spa outside an Airport lounge ?
I get the FLounge dining, champagne etc but don't understand the obsession with Spa's. They are at best OK, treatment times are constrained in comparison to regular spas. Much better to have facial done prior to getting to the airport.

The obsession may be with taking advantage of anything that is 'free'. :shock:

For me I like the facial with neck and shoulder massage. It's very relaxing before a flight.

I tend to go to a spa (outside of the F Lounge) once or twice a month. It's nice to spoil yourself!

I totally agree. I tend not to bother with the Spa en-route as I'm usually well prepared prior to getting to the Airport. I'm also very fussy about the products I use, perhaps I need to relax a little ;p

I have never had a spa treatment and am unlikely to ever.

I have had two massages in my life and enjoyed neither - I actually don't like being touched by other people - especially ones who I have a barely passing acquaintance with.

My comments earlier were more theoretical than actual. Though I would like the kerbside greeting

Mrssimongr loved the spa though when we went to the US together.
