Hi All,
this may seem a strange request but i'm that sorta guy. I have purchased (points) a flight from JFK-MEL on the A380 and 744 in First as a b-day present for the GF.

I would like to mock up a boarding pass with her name etc. but the only First boarding passes I have are the cough ones they give you in LHR. Does someone have a QF First boarding pass that they could scan and send on? Please feel free to delete your name and QFF number, I just really need the gold top bit plus the swoopy First.

If anyone can help I would be very grateful. A PM is prob the best way to go.

Now just wondering about seat selection. Kiwi Flyer thinks that 4A and 5A are the way to go so any other suggestions are welcome. Now just need to make sure that she stays away from 5th Ave........

I have a feeling that this one is one revision behind the current F cards, but not 100% sure:

It's a photo rather than a scan, so might be a little off-proportional as well. (BTW, it's not one of mine ... just a random one I found on the Interweb)

If I was doing this for my GF, I'd head off to the airport and try and talk my way into getting a blank F boarding pass, then filling in the details myself... Whether they'd give one to me or not is another matter ;)

Ahhh! Thanks Mal, that's not a bad idea.

Found a few photos on the web but their quality is often pretty iffy.

Cheers

If nobody else comes forward today i may still have one at the office on monday i can scan. I am pretty sure my F one was left intact on my last QF F flight.

Its current. on 747 if alone 4A/4K best for space especially if working as they are baby bassinet seats with a large space to the left of the seat.

If togather, the 3rd row in the middle for the most personal space. On A380, no experience there as yet.

hope you enjoy your trip, you will also rack up a lot of brownie points for that one as well!!!

Cheers SPRUCE:mrgreen:

Sorry that I can't help you out but post a trip report if you can.

Also a word of warning, starting the GF in First is going to cost you in the long run cos that will be the standard by which all other flights are measured!!! She may never let you take her anywhere non-F after that

Have a great trip!

Sorry I missed this yesterday. I have one at home - however it might only be the big stub after someone has removed the short stub. I will check tonight...

I did a similar thing for a friend's birthday. If you cannot find another source, I can remove the personal details and send it to you (unless the birthday boy is happy for it to be posted here in its original form ;)).

I know, I know. Took her J to AKL in Sept and received the comment "this is really nice, I could easily do the 15 hours to the USA like this" and "Ohhh, that manicure in the F-Lounge was great. When are we traveling again?".

Needless to say I happen to enjoy it as well. Plus it earns me HUGE brownie points.

NM, if you can delete the important details I have already mocked up a one (see below) I will just cut and past those details on to a First BP.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.

Excellent!

Thanks NM.

Took seats 3A and 4A on the 388 as well. Just hope that we board via L2 so that I can turn left.....

Thanks to all for your suggestions.

I have never seen the FIRST SUITE noted on these before. What does it refer to? I take it was the 747-438 ER version of aircraft?

I think that was added text by sr81 of what he plans to put on the BP rather than an actual BP. The BP he scanned is in fact a whY BP.

Whilst we're on the subject of BPs, do Y+ pax receive the same paperwork as whY pax?

No the leg from ALX-MEL is on the A380 and when I look at My Bookings it has: Your flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne will be in First Suite class. I am just guessing what the BP will say. There is a fair bit of poetic license with this one. And yes I know that QF 94 doesn't operate JFK-LAX....... The GF won't care that this one is incorrect though it pains me every time I look at it!

I hope you and Holly enjoy the flight... Wish i could somehow swing one of new 380 flights.... my next flight to US is on a 744, but in the right class so who can complain :)

at the risk of going off thread, how did yu find the overall value for money in prem Y?

Given that I booked an 'N' class sale fare, I found it staggeringly good value for money :)

To me it seems more of a J- than a Y+, and in that regard if it around half the J fare, I find it good. In fact, I after having been in it, I would be prepared to pay for it. So it works for me!

I recall that birthday party....

Great job for the scanned BP, NM.
