I'm Gen A, so it's unacceptable for me. The later Gen X, Y, Z and whatever has followed them it's due to the way they were brought up, and will never change...

Errr… Gen A is kids born between 2010 and 2024

I don’t think it’s the way kids are brought up, it’s just adapting to reality.

Our parents might have told up to never put our feet on things… but we never sat 12 inches away from a wall for 14 hours either!

I find socks the most acceptable (least unacceptable) of the three options actually.

Bulkhead likely cleaner than carpeted floor. So good place to put socked foot.

I think 'classic' crocs make you look like a dumbass. I wear crocs similar to these though. But never on a plane and I'd never put my feet on the bulkhead. I'm not a selfish douchebag.

Had an event like that, except there was a painted toenail in lieu of a shoe. I fixed that by jamming my elbow on the toe which was quickly removed….
