I'm also fine to go with the flow. But I just want to say this is Adelaide. Jasmin and the east end is just as local to the Hilton. I think it's a bit rough to pretend it's a massive distance.

Not pretending anything, I just class local as walking distance from the Hilton. I really don't give a flying rats cough where we eat (as long as flying rats cough are not served as "special meat") :p

Maybe we should ring the lounge manager and get the far end roped off for us - whats the count at the Hilton, there's 5 of us in our group
Are think there about 10 of us so far (including partners). Does someone have a contact at HA?
Ok, QF81 booked. Now for the minor details of how to get to Sydney, and then how to get back to Melbourne!
Will you be joining us for dinner?
+1

Also firmly moves hand up requesting a guesting spot in the Hilton lounge... :D

Edit: Gouger Restaurants here - Gouger Street Restaurants | Urbanspoon
If I can guest you into the Flounge, then I will attempt to guest you into HA exec as well.

There's a crowd of us at the Hilton - I vote (again) for Gouger St and Wah Hing (or similar) Chinese (5 mins max walk)- I have eaten here previously a couple of times and it is V Good. So, why not drinkies (as if we hadn't had enough!) at the Hilton, see what we can do about guesting into the lounge or just enjoy a couple at the bar, then walk over to a restaurant?

As I said in a previous thread, I'm happy to go with the flow, but I must admit I would prefer to eat local, especially after a big day in the F lounge :p
The Hilton is on Vic Square, so most places are not too far to walk. And a flat walk at that. And east or west is much of a muchness too. :)

So who's going to be the first to throw up some ideas for for "City West" Preference i.e "Other Restaurant / Gouger Street Eating Precinct"

...?

With a bit over a week to go on the poll, City West is in the lead by two votes, so perhaps Jasmin won't be the popular choice after all...

Again, please register your vote to be included in the dinner location decision process]

I'm also a vote each way - not knowing ADL at all I really don't mind and will adjust my packed footwear according to walking distances required!!

Hi All current J class seating free on QF 81 & 82

QF 81 1F 2ABEFK 3 BEFJK 4BEFJ 5 ABEFJK

How nice if Qantas appreciated our support and handed out some upgrades so we are all in J, looks possible with available seating but I fear with all the recent enhancements it's never going to happen though... :(

We can dream though:)

I think it would be a very unique J flight if we all were seated there. Lots of photos to take of that cabin. Lotsa fun for everyone.
