Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Chris Vermeulen - BNE J lounge.....of Moto GP & Superbike fame.

When he gives the bike game away he could be a jockey - small guy for handling those fast bikes.

Many years ago Sam Riley in J on QF domestic. A few years ago Rachel Hunter at lounge & then on same Air NZ flight to AKL. That's all I can think of right now but I'm sure there's many others.

Tom Gleeson at the Sydney Domestic J lounge.

Back in the day, Bryan Ferry & Jerry Hall in 1976 at BNE. She was gorgeous, all legs & smiling with long blonde hair. He was very cool about everything going on. It was bedlam.

Just think, if she hadn't hooked up with Mick she could've been Jerry Ferry. Saw Bryan on TV the other day when he was on tour in ADL.

Don't know if that's better or worse than Jerry Jagger! Amazing how some old rockers keep going & look ok, while others look like they were fossilized years ago..

I know it isn't a flight or airport occurrence but bumped into the voice of cycling Phil Liggett in the lobby of the Adelaide Hilton. He even remembered us from our meeting in Gap during the Tour de France.

I worked as a cameraman during the nineties and flew on many jobs around the world. Flying in J with my sound recordist he was always seated next to the drummer from Whitesnake, or Christie Brinklie or someone famous. I always had my producer next to me. :( I'd turn around and here he is giggling with super models just like Jerry Seinfeld in the biz-class episode. "More? More everything."

Kyle Sandilands on a recent J VA from LAX. He had a look like, "don't even think about trying to talk to me."

He shouldn't flatter himself in thinking that someone would want to even talk to him. Talk about a 'legend in his own lunchbox'.

Seriously, who the hell does he think he is calling some woman a "fat slag". Apparently it was a female journalist that did a review on his radio show & possibly didn't give it the glowing reviews Kyle thought it should have. He also had a go at teenage singer Jess Mauboy on Australian Idol criticising her weight & telling her in order to be a success she had "to lose the jelly belly".

He wasn't the only Idol judge to criticise a contestant's weight with Ian "Dicko" Dickson telling contestant Paulini Curuenavuli to "dress more appropriately or shed some pounds".

These guys are unbelieveable & clearly need to take off their sunglasses & have a good look at themselves in the mirror as they'd both do well taking their own advice.

Spotted Tim Wonnacott (Bargain Hunt, UK) on QF419 this morning. He was in Y I was in J ;)

Also spotted John Cleese walking through the QF Domestic Terminal in MEL.
