Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

In the loyalty stakes Coles always seems to trump Woolworth's offers. Even when I'm tempted to return to WOW (where I used to shop exclusively) the Coles combination of weekly coupons/docket offers/email offers seems to be more favourable (thanks to Rainbowgirl for advising that such combinations all work together in the same shop). I never used to consider Flybuys a competitive loyalty scheme but it seems that WOW will have to improve further their rewards offering to get me back permanently.

I agree!

Coles allows stacking so it is good. Woolies offers arent as great, I hope they are/can be in the future!

I totally agree!

Whilst I have been fortunate to benefit from some of the Woolworths bonus points offers recently ( ie: spend $110 x 4 weeks , earn 12,000 ww rewards points) increasing the spend thresholds is already starting to disenfranchise many customers gained back already.

In a few Weeks when both Woolies & Coles release their Christmas Quarterly sales figures, it will be very likely that Woolies ( for the first time in over 6 years) will report stronger sales growth than Coles during a quarter. ( No coincidence that a much stronger loyalty program was introduced during that same quarter  ).

If this does prove to be the case, then don't expect Coles to sit on their hands, they will undoubtedly use many promotional activities including even more tartgeted Flybys promotions to grow sales in their stores.

10x points on shop over $100. Obviously Woolworths doesn't feel like they need to try too hard to get me to shop with them :(

Same here, but after 2 weeks of chasing 2000 points for $80 spend, I don't need to buy anything! $100 is a big stretch for me in any week.

I have run out of ice-cream and now have to wait until Monday. Blast those spend $x each week offers. ;)

We ran out of Vita Brits yesterday. They are on half price special at Woolworths at the moment but I'm waiting until Monday to got there when the next eligible week starts (I did my other target shops on Monday of this week). I took up a targeted offer today at Coles so I bought a packet at nominally full price just to get us through to Monday. I used a couple of targeted offers in the Coles shop so everything was about 20% off anyway on top of any other specials.

That's pretty serious. I give you special dispensation to purchase some today or tomorrow but don't tell anyone. Maybe don't swipe your card so they don't know it is you!

Did shopping today, filled my cart bit too much and the moment it reached $65 told the cashier: "Sorry can't take more items, didn't bring enough money".

The joke was on me as I payed with gift voucher :p

Have I lost my mind or is there a 20X fuel offer ending today?

Not for me either, but today I did get 3x points for 4 weeks including petrol and bws, so that will be useful.

Last week I also had spend $100 in one shop and get 2000 points as often as you like until the 5th. Easily accomplished more than several times.

If you are ever in Margaret River in WA go to the Woolies which is one street back from the Main Street. Beautiful store but buggerall customers because the locals have not embraced it. I love going to a place with such easy parking, wide aisles and no one in them. I used my 5%off gift cards and should not have bought the Lindt at 50% off.

Mrs Lime is into this Woolies points thing, has cards for me and her swaps around at checkout to get best deal, she and i picked up about 6K Q points for not much more than regular spend about $300 in toto over 2 weeks.

Wouldn't you have been better off buying a half price one at Wow and purchasing some C specials to make up the difference with the C shop?

4000 points for 2 weeks shopping of $65 per week, starts Monday. But 2 weeks ago I got 8000 points for 4 weeks shopping of $65 per week. I've done the first 2 weeks of this first offer. So do I now get the additional points or is it still the first offer?
