Emirates FA stole $7000 in-flight

There are lots of reports of this on certain routes where people are know to carry large sums of money. Usually it is not just petty theft of $100 here or there, but substantially larger sums of money involved, in terms of thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars. But usually it's other passengers committing the crime, not staff.

Im surprised they actually went to the fingerprinting stage to find the perpertrator.
On the other side of the coin, unscrupulous passengers may accuse that they someone had stolen stuff from their bag when nothing was stolen

Careful now using the word "stole" around here. Some members may not be able to handle it.

Why do people continue to separate themselves from valuables? Keep valuables with you at all times and this will not happen.

Emirati law should apply aboard airborne Emirates aircraft so perhaps the FA will have her hand amputated!

I sometimes have hundreds of thousands stashed in my backpack in the overhead lockers. Nobody's ever taken it. But only ever when I'm travelling to Indonesia or Vietnam ;):p

She is apparently a he.

“But a police corporal told the court the suspect confessed after his fingerprints matched those found on the brothers’ wallets.”
