Was looking at Asahi Beer at WW liquor, which was on special for $45. Noticed it was actually brewed in China. Then I checked Asahi beer at First Choice and it was brewed in Thailand!
Are any foreign beers that are actually imported from their actually countries these days? I guess I now know why I brew my own beer!

I had some imported Asahi at one stage from Canada, found it hilarious that they even bothered!

Just spent 1/2 hour on the phone to Customer Service as double points not posted from the 19th May...said there must be an IT glitch and they will investigate but to allow 3-5 days for a response. I had my receipt so read out all the details to her but beginning to wonder if chasing another 85 points it worth the trouble but now I am in the game I can't let them win can I?

Triple points at Woolies and 300 for $30@BWS.

To add to this I got 500 points for spending at each of Woolies, BWS and BigW, no minimum spend.

Looking at our average weekly shop plus qualification spend, that means 1550 points for about $325. Plus card points of course.

Quite common in SE Asia.

Tiger, Carlsberg and Heineken are mostly brewed in the country they are sold.

Lucky! How did you get that? Only get bonus for spending a certain amount.

Lucky, I think - some of us have had both the no minimum spend variety as well as the minimum spend version, so always grateful when the lower threshold one pops up

If you look at Peroni at Dan Murphy's, the product imported from Italy is actually cheaper than the Peroni that is brewed here in Australia.

The Father in-law also has a carton of Corona's imported from Mexico, which do seem to taste better than the product brewed here.

Followed up the Macro claim, they are about to put 6900 points into the account!

And the info was correct but not the amount :D

Got to admit I am a little bit over the LW Organic Chocolate Biscuits!

Time for me to check my account then :D

Over them? You must be eating too many  - I think I have 4 left.

The yogurts (of which I bought the most) and the corn cakes have proven enormous hits in the school lunch box.

Just got (in the snail mail, how last century) a flyer for 200 bonus points for using Big W Optical.
Seeing as my health fund benefits expire at the end of June (use them or lose them), I might check them out. Cant hurt having another spare pair.

If you have a spend requirement for points this week at WOW, have a look at a new toothbrush, they have a $30 visa card cash back and up to 5 purchases are eligible:

Oddly my offers for Big W have got more and more expensive for minimal points, and every week I don't shop they continue to rise. If they give me a $30 offer I'll probably come back to them. Besides, I need more toilet paper!

Last time I came home with 96 rolls and it was a while ago!

Is the macro offer targeted or general?

Just on the App question. I finally logged in to the woolworths app with my EDR number and it shows the offers under my specials.

There are very few beers in Australia that are truly imported from the original brewer. Corona is strangely one of the only ones... Although singa is also of note.

For the rest, the tend to be pale imitations of the overseas manufacturer. And they tend to be brewed in Thailand, Canada or other places not representative in any way of the origin of the beer.

Karlovacko from Croatia is another that is brewed in its country of origin. Usually goes for $50 at Dan Murphy's but can sometimes be found for $40.

There's a few brewed in Australia (under license) as well....

Thanks for the tip! Was browsing AFF app on my phone while pushing the trolley around with the lady just before. Made sure I picked up the '500' model which was enough to tip my EDR into the next bonus points category.
