Used my card to claim the $50 today. Loved the operator's face when a $51 shop reduces to $1 :D - Operator, that'll be $51 and thir ahhh... I mean, $1 and thirty one cents.

3 cards with offers this week;

1 * double points over $30.
2 * spend $30 for 250 bonus points.

Used 1 card last week in spend $35 for 250 points. This week that card is one of the spend $30 for 250 points. The card that I didn't use has the double points offer this week. I am getting more and more confused about how EDR gives out its weekly offers.

Rated the double for over $30 spend as very poor offer.

Double points for $30. Paying the price for taking up some other more generous offers recently.

Got 500 points / $75 offer last week, couldn't use it within the time period and only ended up spending $73.10 anyway when I did go shopping.

Double points offer this week, straight to trash.

Dad - double bonus points this weekend
Brother - double bonus points this weekend
Me - double bonus points this weekend

Some really silly discount offers.

Everyday Rewards is being rebranded and QFF points are being removed.
Rebranding by the end of October.
Points are either being removed at the same time or by the end of the year.

I know that this is an unusual question for this forum but it's a valid question for many members of QFF who only got the membership because of the partnership with EDR. What will happen to the QFF accounts which only have a few hundred points in them at the time of the changes? If these members will no longer be able to earn QFF points via EDR, how will they get any value out of the points they have. Under the current QFF auto rewards system you need 750 points to redeem a $5 gift card.

I guess this is still just pure speculation. I can't find any news evidence on the web that the changes we knew were coming will actually come before the end of the year.

If this change happens, the points in your QF account will simply become what is known as 'orphan miles'. Not enough miles to redeem any awards or items, and they sit in your account until such time as they expire (if there's no other activity).

That will certainly change my shopping habits completely. Will miss the QFF points but perhaps save some money in the process.
