I can't remember my login name (I don't know why I can't just use my number) so I clicked the link on the website, entered my number and name, and received this email from them:

Dear Steve,

We have successfully validated your details. Your username is %CustomerLoginAlias%

Kind Regards,

Well that's a fat lot of good.

Turns out my username is my number anyway!

I was reading the other day about a Virgin Atlantic happy birthday email, where they sent people "Happy Birthday, Error".

Thanks for reminding me to create a username for my account - I'm frustrated that I can't remember my number and have to delve back into my emails to source it every time.

Thats why I love Lastpass to keep my usernames etc
