Hey guys,

I've recently travelled from KUL-HKG on V class (able to earn points) however it was a codeshare and operated by CX

I'm curious to know if points will be able to be earned on this sector or will the V class have to be on an MH flight only.

Cheers

Since it was a codeshare operated by a oneworld airline I would think it's eligible. How long ago did you travel?

Since it was a codeshare operated by a oneworld airline I would think it's eligible.

I think so too given that the Earning Table on the QF site states:
"Excluded: Points and Status Credits are not earned on Codeshare Flights operated by airlines other than oneworld® alliance airlines."

no :( I was flying on a CX A330- they do look after WPs way better than MH did though- 2 greetings, bottled water and champagne from the front!

Out of curiosity, did your flight appear in QF 'Manage My Booking' under the operating CX code, or under the MH codeshare?

I have something similar booked and the way it is appearing is a bit strange (to me).

Not specific to MH, but I've had an AY codeshare operated by CX (HKG>BKK).
The flight took about 2 weeks to post to my QFF without needing intervention.

It did show up in Manage my booking as a CX Code. The MH codes for the other flights all came up weird though

I know the MH system can be a bit slow in posting to QFF and there have been issues with some fare classes not posting. Not sure if those issues have been resolved.
