I just received an email spruiking a new points tie up with the Rockpool group, including being able to use QFF points to pay/part pay for the bill: Home - Qantas.
I dined at one of their restaurants tonight. Didn’t remember the points until I saw it mentioned inside the menu. Went through the process of putting in my FF number as we were paying so will be interested to see how long it takes for the points to him the account.
I already tried it at Burger project and it didn't work. Was handed a tablet to enter my surname and qff. It rejected these saying they arent correct. They said to come back next time and we will try again. But while i was waiting for my buger they contacted someone from support who said to call Qantas about it and to get the points.
Contacted Qantas who said to contact Rockpool customer service and that if the tablet isnt working to tell them to get their IT to replace it.
Wasn't impressed with this circular pattern.
Anyway contacted Rockpool who eventually put me through to someone at the store who tried again and processed it. 30 points credited yesterday.
I guess put it down to teething issues.

She told me that as I have an older QFF number (7 digit with the first digit a zero) I need to add an additional zero at the front. So 00xx_xx_.
