I think Matt has said somewhere on AFF more recently that he thought Qantas was exploring new ways to earn SCs

Thanks! I do recall there being some chatter too about Jetstar rejigging SC earn through (yet another) change in the bundle offerings.

Nothing has posted yet, but I've just noticed this in the app. I had some everyday rewards points convert yesterday, so assume Ive ticked that box.

My second attempt at a Marriott transfer has posted with a transaction date of 2 October, but unfortunately I haven't got that message saying I've unlocked status credits, so I wonder if that suggests that a transfer of Marriott points won't count.

Are you referring to transferring from a Credit Card points scheme or directly from World of Hyatt?

I believe you can only link World of Hyatt with American, but that's for a different purpose.

You can convert a minimum of 5000 World of hyatt points to 2000 Qantas Points.

I should have ticked off the banking category (Amex Qantas platinum monthly points posted 2 October) yet no message. Bit random imo.

I suppose not earning full Flexible Economy SCs on the most expensive JQ fares is not on.
As I start, it turns me off from flying JQ at all.

Mrs excel has just received a 5* points plus 5c/l discount at bp one week offer from Qantas. She hasn't earned points via bp for months, if not years because we have been using my account.

Curious that it's not from bp directly - I suspect Qantas might be funding some incentives alongside the SC promos to try to demonstrate to BP the value of the partnership; perhaps the contract is up for renewal soon...

I wonder if it will be sent more widely or just to dormant accounts. This offer would maybe generate 400-450 points if filling up with the ultimate petrol, and would probably still need one more carrot to get comfortably to the 1000.

I got that one as well and I'm in the same category as Mrs Excel - I haven't earned points from BP so potentially just dormant BP accounts
