I think Matt has said somewhere on AFF more recently that he thought Qantas was exploring new ways to earn SCs

Thanks! I do recall there being some chatter too about Jetstar rejigging SC earn through (yet another) change in the bundle offerings.

Nothing has posted yet, but I've just noticed this in the app. I had some everyday rewards points convert yesterday, so assume Ive ticked that box.

My second attempt at a Marriott transfer has posted with a transaction date of 2 October, but unfortunately I haven't got that message saying I've unlocked status credits, so I wonder if that suggests that a transfer of Marriott points won't count.

Are you referring to transferring from a Credit Card points scheme or directly from World of Hyatt?

I believe you can only link World of Hyatt with American, but that's for a different purpose.

You can convert a minimum of 5000 World of hyatt points to 2000 Qantas Points.

I didn’t get a message either, however, this would be my second category ticked off — the first being from Woolworths which triggered the message and no doubt the “food and wine” category.

I wonder if this means it’ll only show the message for the first category…

I should have ticked off the banking category (Amex Qantas platinum monthly points posted 2 October) yet no message. Bit random imo.

Would spend on the David Jones Latitude card with points linked to Qantas count? This card isn’t specifically listed on Qantas’ website.

It also mentions banking products, but not specifically AMP and Kudos point earning accounts - hoping they activate SC.

I suppose not earning full Flexible Economy SCs on the most expensive JQ fares is not on.
As I start, it turns me off from flying JQ at all.
