    G'day all,

A group of us are flying to Christchurch from Melbourne for a holiday in a couple of weeks for a little skiiing at Mt Hutt. We do like to stock up on spirits before arrival so can anyone who has travelled that route lately let me know where the cheaper sprits are - Melbourne or Christchurch duty free????

    Thanks heaps

In general NZ duty free tends to be less expensive, but do compare.

Try joining the Duty Free Stores Frequent Buyer Club for a 20% discount on pre-ordered Booze (arrivals and departures).

I flew into CHC a week ago, and using the info above from serfty (as per our chat in SYD, thanks again ) saved myself approx. $90 when comparing to the duty free stores in Australia.
