Downgrade from nonstop to 1 stop; compensation?

In the past, I've always managed to at least a few miles in my account for an inconvenience like this.

From a purely practical point of view I would note this as another potential problem with booking in premium economy with a carrier that doesn't offer premium economy across its fleet.

On a route that has had its equipment upgraded on a temporary basis.
