Thought I had missed out as well but rec'd a DSC offer late this afternoon. Need another 320 SC by 31 Jul to retain Plat and this will help.

my wife received one as a bronze on 150 s/c in an attempt to attain silver - she hasn't taken up any flights though as silver is no use to her due to limited flying

I have never been past bronze and the time of my offer I had 0 SC for this year, however for the last 2 years, got closer to silver than I normally do, partially thanks to this forum, + an overseas trip. Maybe they noticed this, or was I just lucky??

I'm PS and would have scraped SG for the first time without it. Now I'm going to make WP because of it. Mine was for April to June.

Of the rare offers I get, I have not been able to use the more recent ones as 90% of my bookings are made more than 4 months away.

The first one I received in the early days applied to existing bookings as well.

Received my offer today. Shame I have already booked LHR to SYD in F for next week. I am 430 SC away from WP and will only pick up 360 SC from next weeks flight

In my experience double status credit offers arrive 3 months before expiry date. I expect to receive one in 1 month from now, but I will retain WP (just) without it if my sums are correct.

not in my experience.. I've had it twice within 1 month of starting my new Qualifying year. Also 6 months out when I had already qualified platinum. There is no real pattern for it.

Having said that I missed out on this one too! oh well.

I received an offer last year which allowed me to reach WP for the first time.

I've never got one, but my wife has had 5 in the last 3 years. I didn't get one 3 months out from my yearly expiry date either so its only random for those as well. Could have used this one too as I would still easily make SG before my year ticks over at the end if this month

I got my offer a couple of days after I renewed WP for another year.

In my email, it was suggested the promotion will make it easier for me to attain P1 (for the first time).

Ex CNS prices look horrendously extortionate as usual.

The difference between ex-CNS and ex-BNE bears no correlation to the actual cost of connecting flights.

A question

Was booked WLG-SYD-SIN-SYD-WLG in D. As was booked prior to the promo period not eligible for DSC. Has a schedule change and now booked WLG-AKL-SIN-SYD-WLG i.e rerouted through AKL on NZ

Have same PNR but different ticket number

Will I now qualify for DSC?

I've has some come through the day after, and some took about 10 days. I would relax and wait.

No idea how they decide if you get it. I got one for APR through JUN in march where my year ends in April. When I received it I had about 1700scs for the year. Perhaps they thought I'd shoot for partner gold?
