AccorPlus China

I’m trying buy a China plan via WeChat and cannot get the Accor mini app to recognise my ALL account. Didn’t like mobile nor email. I’m at home in Oz over wifi.

Any tricks to getting it to work?

I logged in using my normal credentials just the other day. What's the actual issue? And do you have translate on?

Are you pressing the 2nd tab to login via email then pressing switch to password?

That’s the top red circle, then the lower red circle to switch to password. You should not see the request pin box I’ve crossed in blue.

Oh, Lordy… I spent ages going around and around. The “password” option was completely lost in translation to something like “overcyphering”…🙄

Now in…thanks! Now also sitting on exactly 60 nights…😉 (had a few stays this year and more to come soon and next year).

Thank you!

Did you stack with Accor+ to reach that? I'm going to fall a bit short of Platinum this year and my Accor+ renewal is coming up, hoping Accor China still stacks..

AIUI, Accor China still stacks BUT you can only stack if you buy Explorer first and the 30 nights credit.

Sadly, I'm going to have to pull the plug on a trip that would have got me to platinum on spend, so I'm going to renew Explorer tomorrow, and then get Accor China after the 30 nights from Explorer credit. I'll report back if there are issues.

And indeed I was.

Two nights secured at the Silveri in Hong Kong in June next year (one free, one 50% off), with the total cost of the Explorer and China cards and room rate being not much more than the cash price...

(EDIT I realised after I booked that it would have been cheaper to reverse the order of the vouchers I applied by ~$50. However, a spot of Googling suggested that unlike Accor mainline, Accor China vouchers are not returned automatically if the booking is cancelled necessitating a chat in WeChat so make sure you get the booking right.)

Just an FYI for some reason they’ve always been insistent at this hotel to see and scan the QR code of the China card.

Never had it anywhere else using the card so just keep it in mind and be logged into WeChat to avoid check in delays.
