Did the extra SC credit as one transaction or as two seperate?

Just had a flight that should have qualified credited with the normal amount, want to know if I should start following it up.

I just got my first double credited, and what would be a normal 15 credits posted as 30 for me.

No system note or adjustment was given just as normal.

Going to hit platinum now in two weeks given my usual 40SC per week is now 80!

Credited in one transaction for me. That's got me to WP six weeks prior to reset so not planning on any flying now, although I've got a free Amex flight that delivers no SCs so maybe I might try and use it. Also I think in total I received 9 SCs from FlyBuys over the past 12 months, so while I guess the useful target is probably a minimum of 10, it can help.

Actually if it were not for the double SC offer I would be left sitting on 799, I'm sure that I could have spent some money at Coles to fix, but would be interesting to know if VA would have comped me.

There’s a thread here somewhere about early comps. Me included ~40SCs early. But you’d hate to be the one that got xx9 - ‘Computer says “No!”’

Hi @ozstamps , do you do work travel, and if so, do you book via company or corporate portal? That's how I got my extra SCs.

Otherwise you can always try to see if any flights you booked via standard virgin portal would collect bonus SCs.

I just booked my Father flights thru VA site, and he received the double SC's. As long as you registered in the specified period.

I received double status credits for my flights this week and bookef one through VA website and one through Flight Centre.

Have a flight Monday morning BNE>DRW. Will post if I get double status credits back in here early next week.

Me either. None of my flights booked via the website credited double SC.

Typically dumb Velocity Promo done with zero thought process.. Breathlessly email Plats about it, and make it near impossible to use and quality for.

For Gawd sakes you IDIOTS if folks book via the Virgin website you get ALLLLLLLLL the money they spend. NOT so with 3rd party sites.

I registered for this offer, even though I wasn't invited to. All my travel which was booked directly with VA and flown in the eligible dates has so far received double SCs.

Moral of the story, sign up to all the deals even if it looks like you won't receive any benefit based on the terms and conditions.

I wonder why the difference..

Interestingly, one of my trips double SC's. I only ever book through the website direct. I have booked and flown 8 sectors since this started and last weekend is the only one that double SC's works on.

I did book it with a discount code, maybe that was a "business" discount code? But I book with a discount everytime I book. Took me forever to workout why BNE - CBR in Elevate was crediting at 30SC.
