I used a GV purchased during DSC period to book on 30/4. Flights were taken 15/5 and 21/5. Flight from 21/5 has posted DSC but he outbound flight hasn't.

DSCs just posted (23 May) for QF revenue flights taken 9 and 10 April. They are labelled separately " Double status credit promotion 18 May (and 19 May)".

Go figure what those dates mean, but grateful for small mercies.

This is good news!

There’s clearly some delays...I had a flight on 4 May for which DSCs have still not posted. The other half was on the same flight and his DSCs posted last night.

I was getting a little concerned. This was a booking made during the promo period via a TA, but we had changed some of the sectors before ticketing and I was worried that we’d broken the booking.

UPDATE: somewhat longer delay, but my DSCs for the 4 May flight just posted today...

International flights on 18 and 21 May. Standard points and SC's posted the same day as each flight. DSC posted for both flights on 23 May. Standard T's and C's compliant booking without changes or GV involvement.

GV booking made post update and flown 14/5 & 18/5 no auto credit. Will be interesting to see if an original booking to Europe this weekend credits automatically.

Recently chased up on outgoing half of a pre-Easter flight. Manual intervention was required but DSC's were credited. The return DSC's had been credited some time earlier. Also received DSC's for flight on 4th May, without intervention.
Slightly off topic but the update does not seem to have fixed anything regarding totals of SC's. Immediately after, all the strange totals in my account were corrected but now it's back to normal chaos. I currently have four different SC totals showing. The actual total (AT), my total towards P1 (AT - 200), my total towards next bonus (AT - 280), my total towards platinum bonus (AT - 130). The only two of these that appear correct are the actual total and my total towards P1 (I have 200 bonus SC's). I'm not even bothering to try and work it out beyond that. All my flights are domestic on either Qantas or Jetstar. I'll wait until it's critical and argue then.

So, not GVs, or buying them after the change to T&C halfway through, I guess?

4 flights taken on the same PNR using a GV taken on 15th April, 2 flights posted with SC + DSC, whilst 2 have only posted SC only.

Not happy Jan.

When 8 weeks comes by, I won’t be the most outgoing person on the phone that day.

Anyone have a DSC promo (targeted or otherwise) at the moment?

In the scenario of chasing up the contact centre for DSC from a GV bought during the offer period but then flights booked and flown some time after - what is the conversation that people are having with the contact centre?

Is it as blatant as "I bought a gift voucher during the DSC promotion and I have now used it with a flight booking and I haven't been credited with my DSC. Can you adjust it please?"

.....or something else?

I am choosing my words carefully and waiting for them to articulate the reasons why they are denying the claim. Last conversation they acknowledged that the booking was made in the booking period, but said I had changed it and paid with a GV (whatever that means) so they weren't eligible.

Wasn't having any of it so insisted that changing a booking irrespective of GV or otherwise was not a reason to not honour the offer. She quoted some T&Cs but when I pushed her that the Ts & Cs I had didn't say that she reluctantly (after I insisted to talk with her supervisor) agreed to a 'one-time' settlement.

The problem was exacerbated by the fact that these are for my wife's flights, and they insisted that they talk to her for the entire conversation - even though we were both on the call together and my wife hasn't the faintest idea about any of this. So it was like; QF: we are not honouring because of ABC, ME: ABC doesn't apply etc, QF: We can't talk to you, only your wife. ME (to wife): say "ABC doesn't apply", WIFE: ABC doesn't apply - you get the drift, painful.

I will add that the Agent we were corresponding with was clearly off-shore - and with the typical argumentative non-helpful style one gets with that cohort..

Probably should refer to my earlier posts re these flights. Suffice to say they had all the potential problems.

To date, I have not had a flight that did not credit any DSC's at all. My problem has been that portions are missing. I fly Adelaide to Launceston. DSC's post for the MEL - LST leg but not the ADL - MEL leg. Or I do the same trip return, with DSC's for the outgoing but not the return.
So far I have been able to rectify the deficiencies by phoning after eight weeks and explaining the situation. My conversation has always been along the lines of "I took these flights on these dates. I have received DSC's for one leg but not the other. I am wondering what the problem is?".
The last time I did this, they simply fixed it manually and credited me the missing SC's. Previously, they have taken details and referred it on for manual intervention. I have never gone into details as to how I purchased the flight, or how many times I altered it. I did once begin to encounter obstruction. I didn't argue but simply thanked them, hung up and tried again in a couple of days.

I simply say the following flights have not credited double SCs and I've not been challenged yet that these flights were booked with gift vouchers. In fact they've confirmed "they can see the flights were booked during the promotion period" and they quoted some bookings that did not qualify and I agreed but I didn't ask for those flights.

The fun will start next month with my new membership year.
