How come your reassessment is 18 months away?

As you have worked out, when you earn a status you keep it for the remainder of that "year" (July 2014) and the next "year" (July 2015).

Not wanting to sound like I'm bragging but I just can't work out QF's software.

Took multiple flights on JAN 25 & 26.

Initial SCs posted on JAN 25, 26 & 27.

Double SCs posted on JAN 28 for all flights except the last flight. The last set of double SCs posted on JAN 31.

I just can't figure out how their software works!

The DSC promotion has not been smooth for me, each DSC has had to be added manually from the call centre. Some have been escalated to the loyalty team. Some won't be addressed till now (after the promo).

The system doesn't seem to handle status runs (same sectors on the same day) and comfort seats particularly well.

The odd thing some standard flights have not posted either.... The limits of the system became apparent when doing something less than ordinary.

This still wouldn't explain those who have been waiting 6+ weeks for their bonus SCs and then still have them manually added.

i know it isn't 6wks but my DSC haven't posted for flights from 16 Jan and later yet. Usual SC posted not long after. seems strange that there is such a variance of postings. Don't suppose it is much use phoning on a weekend though is it?

Probably not. My requests for investigation were ignored at 5 weeks, 6 weeks and 7 weeks post flight. At 8 weeks the operator took action and credited them immediately.

DSC's for recent flights were credited automatically in a few days.

Seems something was wrong internally with this promotion, but they do work it out eventually, just with added work and angst for all.

Sort of like xASA's now.

Have you checked that your lifetime status credits balance is still correct?

For me when they subtracted the erroneous status credits, they effectively subtracted them twice from the lifetime total. If the same thing happened to you, you'd be down 400 on where you should be.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Yes they had taken 600 sc off my lifetime balance... when I asked about this, the operator said ' yeah the balance will be wrong, how many should you have?' but they are still looking at my account. I have received the DCS points but they still have to take 100 from the ones erroneously applied.
