QF does not put you up in a hotel for transits. I think Emirates may with 15+ hours possibly??
QF'll do it about the same time that they start serving flying pig in whY...does any airline put you up these days?
I vaguely recall someone mentioning to me that their hotel was paid by Korean Air for an overnight transit in ICN on the routing SYD-ICN-LHR in economy.
Yes, Korean does it in ICN.
JL and ANA did it for NRT transits enroute to USA.
Presume they still do....... It's the one route where I break the rule and fly direct now

JL used to do it (still might not sure) at NRT if you took the day flight SYD/NRT arriving at night then a morning flight next day NRT/LHR arriving late pm into LHR.
