Probably addressed sometime on some thread, but does Qantas have a record of points per FF since joining date? If so, then how might one get this info for ones self? Reason for asking is I guess I might have clocked up over 2 million points over twenty odd years but just wondering what it actually is.

Any clues?

I would suggest you contact QFF as they have some pretty detailed data on members - you may only have to ask...

Interesting thread - would love to know how far back passenger records go for QF.

I can tell you how many upgrades they have given me... zero :(

I know my own lifetime total points (earnt and burnt), but that is from my personal records... I suspect they would have some records (they certainly keep lifetime SC counters)...

I have a record of all my earn and burn as well as op-ups (1) and successful upgrades. I'm sure QFF has something similar so I would expect them to be able to give you the information.

I recall in the 90's (the decade, not my age) the FA's in J could tell from a computer print-out how much flying you had done. One quipped: you almost live with us! However I don't think the data has been preserved or the feelings gone just like tier credits which, in those days expired.

Tier credits did not exist with QFF until September 1998.

You can ask for a copy of every statement, at a 2500 point cost per statement , priceless!

There was a thread here in the last week or three where someone posted they were able to get a dump of the entire history for 2000 points.

From QFF:
20.2.1 Lifetime recognition may be awarded to Members who achieve certain specified cumulative Status Credit levels. For Members who joined Qantas Frequent Flyer prior to 1 September 1998, their cumulative Status Credit total will include all tier credits or Status Credits earned from 1 September 1998. For Members who joined Qantas Frequent Flyer after 1 September 1998, their cumulative Status Credit total will date from their date of joining.

Tier or Status credits (did they have another name as well?) earned before 01/09/1998 don't count towards lifetime recognition so I'm wondering if QF bothered to keep a record.

No other name(s) - before their introduction, one could Qualify "Old" Gold (Top level) with 80 eligible flights in any booking class.

I am thinking they do keep full records ... I may check this out when I find time.

As Serfty says, they did not exist before then.

Tier Credits Sept 1998 to 2001
Status Credits Sep 2001 onwards

Until 1998, :
Membership status is measured by the number of points you have earned on Qantas, British Airways or any of our wholly-owned subsidiary airlines. Points earned through our other airline and non-airline partners count only toward free Awards, not toward Blue, Silver or Gold Recognition status.
The table below shows annual Recognition point requirements for each status level based on international and domestic travel. Mixed travel is calculated on a pro-rata combination of the two.

Status Qantas InternationalQantas Domestic
Blue 60,00015,000 or 20 flights*,whichever is sooner
Silver 180,00045,000 or 50 flights*,whichever is sooner
Gold 300,00075,000 or 80 flights*,whichever is sooner

From Sept 1 1998
Status Tier Credits required in each membership year
Blue 350
Silver 700
Gold 1700

Thanks Serfty and markis10. Perhaps in our 20th Anniversary year of QFF membership ( see older thread) QF will give us all a certificate of points, tier credits and status credits. Of course then we'll have to wonder what we did with all our time on the ground!

I've just hit 25 years with QFF and got nothing  - then again, I expected nothing so I haven't been disappointed .
