Do you get free WIFI on Qantas FF Business class rewards ticket?

After 20 minutes on the phone and double checking as a Qantas Rewards redemption you do not get WIFI free in Business class as supposedly you have to have Skywards Number on the Ticket, which a Qantas FF Rewards Redemption does not?

Believe that's the case, you need to have an EK FF number attached to the ticket before departure.

(While there are multiple FF fields in some GDS, I don't believe EK allow it)

Do you have any QFF status?

In any case as you are not losing much if any benefit, replace your Qantas number with your EK number.

See if you can pull your booking up online at www.emirates.com and replace the number with your EK one.

If that does not work, call Qantas and ask for the Frequent Flyer number to be removed - once you have confirmed it has been removed, go online and add your Emirates number.

Curious if anyone tried this and whether it worked.

Was on an EK (F) flight recently and there was no way to add Skywards number online via QF booking and when I asked at the EK first lounge in DXB and on-flight (cabin crew also called EK support line before takeoff) and both instances was told there was nothing they could do. Would be good to know if contacting the QF support line works for future purposes.

I'd love to know this too - we have an upcoming F flight on a QF award booking. I logged onto the Emirates website and have put our skywards memberships on our flights but don't know if this will "stick" or not? Do I ask in the QF F lounge when we arrive if they can change the FF number?

This is second hand info but a couple of suggestions I've heard (1) during booking on QF website replace QF number with EK number or (2) call EK to ask them to replace QF number with EK number.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

As per my experience last week, everyone gets a base 2 hrs imessaging, chat apps freebie or 20MB.

DESPITE BEING IN F, NO FREE WIFI without a Skywards number. From what I gathered on the login screen, you can join in-flight or enter your existing number and away you go.
I didn’t bother, Dining was spectacular and bed comfortably good.

Plenty of free WIFI in Dubai

Im flying EK business in a couple of weeks. I'm qf platinum. If i change my booking to show my skywards FF, will that affect my ability to gain access to the EK first lounge in Dubai?

Don’t know
Best to read the lounge access eligibility would seem it won’t especially matter

And won’t affect wifi access as Skyward numbers are separately logged at connection

i remember a time when there was no wifi on an aircraft, let alone free wifi .
Does it really matter? Is life so short that the need to send and receive email needs to be continuous and uninterrupted?
