Discussion Dogs, Pups, K 9’s and man’s best friend in general [with Pictures]

The ruler of the world stopped his regular at home groomings beginning of Dec last year . He was definitely getting ratty
So husband took him up to a local petos who did an excellent job.
It was easier this way as with the at home groomer we had to make all the appts six months in advance .

The ruler of our world had his six monthly wellness check. He actually doesn't have a regular vet he just goes to the specialist hospital lol.
His results for his health were all within allowable ranges or actually close to normal. He certainly does rule with how his medication is done but glad to see that our almost 14 year old puppy is still doing well

He certainly looks pretty chipper for an old boy.

I think Mr Peanut and I will come to blows in the very near future. His love for slippers is testing my patiences as he has now chewed up around 16 pairs in the past 10 months. I have no idea how he finds/ gets them but he does, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

When we first got him he was attracted to my grotty slippers. Yes they are terrible but this was my own experiment to see see how long hotel slippers could last. They were new in Apr 20, Mr Peanut came to our house in Jul 22 and the slippers did not last long.

He then moved onto amenity kits, that was short lived.

He is now he is finding slippers that have not been worn.

It is very interesting. I thought he may have been attracted to your scent but seems not if he is seeking out unworn ones. Amazing he can recognise them and goes hunting for them. We once had an Australian terrier which loved to chew the linings of shoes but in his case as long as the cupboard was closed and you didn't leave them around - no problem.
You are correct though - he looks like a little angel.

Matt , how old is he ?
Babies need stuff to do and chewing up "pretend" carcasses is therapeutic.
As they grow the need should decrease however you also need to redirect by providing other stimuli.
I have just started to pull down a heap of temporary garden fences in our back yard that prevented our puppy from destroying the contents.
A much more phlegmatic 2yo has lost interest in the wanton destruction that came as a puppy

Q turned 2 on Saturday. In our usual style, we mostly forgot. Mr Katie didn't share the Beef Tartare he had for dinner with Q, much to Q's displeasure. We don't want to try him on onions. ;)

He had a naughty start to last week by eating the armpits out of two woollen shirts of mine. One of which I only bough in CHC in early June! 😭
He's mostly gone for other *ahem* garments, which means we leave the en suite door closed most of the time so he can't reach the dirty clothes basket!

But you do love him to bits and he is gorgeous.

Hmmmm. Yes, he is my goodest boi.

Though being strange since I fell three weeks ago. Adjusted very well to walking at 8-8:30am with a walker instead of ~6am with us/me. But is now not adjusting well to morning walks without me. Almost aboe to walk him. Maybe he needs less walking now he’s 2!!

Going quite well. Bruising gone, I can wear sneakers, still some swelling at the front of the ankle and side of the foot. Otherwise, my foto is its knobbly self and I can mostly walk. Just trying not to overdo it. Walked Q with Mr Katie this morning, and Q seemed a little better with us together, though we didn't go far and only managed 20 mins before he went back inside. *shrug*

Mr Peanut also graduated to shoe linings but only chews up Mrs&MissM's ballet flats (I think that is what they are called)
