Discussion Dogs, Pups, K 9’s and man’s best friend in general [with Pictures]

I have taken some inspiration from this thread Cats Moggies and Felines in General [with-pictures] I did a quick search and did not find one about dogs. In the BC years (before child) MrsM and I had dog’s of the Cavalier type. Post the BC years MissM has always wanted a Pom or some other type of handbag dog. This is “Peanut”.

Chocolate labrador lovers at our place. My husband was down at the beach one morning and a professional photographer was down there (Mark Galer) and he took a few shots of our boy including this one.

You have just been introduced to Skye Terriers. Other than flying and exploring The World. The Heavenly Breed is my other hobby. We go to a dog show every month or two and have a blast eating, drinking and laughing. I live with three Skyes and my Dog Partner has two at her house…it’s complicated.

Our house is still in a mess and Lucy really needed a bath so we decided to go to pet barn to try to buy some boots to protect our new floor and thought they also had a wog dosh.
Sadly no Cigar but the fancy car wash nearby had two.
In we trek , swmbo was studying the instructions while I deposited the mutt in the bath.
We had just paid our $ 10 when the dog in the next wash was started his or her blow dry..
Oh my.. we could hardly breathe for dog hair.. it was amazing but our time was ticking so we spluttered our way through the process.
Eventually exiting covered in a mat of hair, we had to laugh or cry..so decided to laugh.
I took Lucy for a run to dry out and decide she would now live.
Swmbo said that the next patron was not a happy camper as the whole facility and the immediate surrounding area was dog coat central.. all from one dog !.

Last year, Q joined our family. Getting surnames straight at the Vets was almost harder than keeping me as the travel organiser on a Qantas booking ... !!!

Q is a black cavoodle. He has more of a smooth coat, with a very poodley snout. He luckily seems to have none of the poodley anxiety. He will try to eat just about anything he can reach; he often pre-shreds cardboard for the recylcing.

Q in his first few days at our house (on the stairs of the pavillion that I still haven't finished writing about!)

This is the ruler of our world. He is a special needs dog due to seizures. His medications are not on the PBS lol
His medication regimen is 6am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 6pm and 10 pm. We are very strict with his drugs
He is spoilt , believes he is a 90kilo rottweiler aka an 8 kilo Maltese Cross . Grumpy as all get out and very much beloved.
I always wondered why those bossy cata had their own thread and not the dogs

Adorable perhaps but they dont call them coughzus for nothing... currently in the sin bin for eating the blood n bone in all mum's pots, chewing a pen and my specsavers script, and weeing on some lady's bags outside shops when I wasn't looking..oh and thinks he can get up on dining table to check what everyone's eating ....
