Has anyone found a snail in their glass ;)

Donoghue Vs Stevenson - Commercial (torts) Law 101, negligence...

Darn, I would have made a great lawyer, with my "bring back hanging" tee shirts and my sharp wit...

I always check my Bundy Ginger Beer before drinking because of a semester back in 92.... LOL

At least there were dirty glasses.

I was in there last Thursday. There were no glasses, no plates and people were serving themselves soup into the coffee cups.

Having said that, I tweeted about it and shortly after Virgin replied on Twitter. Soon after clean glasses and plates appeared!

My next visit is on Friday morning. Hopefully it won't be bad then!

So why does it take a bast on twitter to get the plates and cutlery out????

No, but back when Qantas used to have the lettuce side salad, I saw a frog!

Now that's a bit a a stretch of the imagination...........;)

A dishwasher that works perhaps? My Miele domestic takes off lipstick, so I'm sure a good commercial dishwasher should have no problems.

Commercial dishwashers generally do a terrible job of cleaning anything caked on - their primary function is more sterilisation than cleaning. Way back when I worked in hospitality, you had to make sure that you'd wiped off the lipstick before putting through the dishwasher..

Was in the BNE D VA Lounge today.

Food wasn't bad (nachos with some kind of sausage was the "significant meal" of the day, with chocolate cream filled profiteroles). But there were some notably dirty crockery and cutlery. Some of the bowls still had cheese stuck to them (hard enough with a hand washing to remove); spoons were the worst of the cutlery to be dirty.

Also, someone forgot to replace the serving spoon for the boccocini cheese bowl on the servery. I had to use my own spoon, which was clean (freshly taken from the cutlery servery) but someone looking at me doing such a thing might jump up and down that I've committed an offence under health regulations.
