Didn't earn points and SC on VA Reward flights

Hi there,

The November Coles Status Credits post has inspired me to write this one. So I flew Hba to Syd 22-Nov and Syd to Mel 24-Nov - didn't earn points and SC on VA Economy Reward flights. I'm assuming VA Reward flights don't earn these? Anyone else facing this same issue? I have VA Business Reward trip coming up soon so worried about that.

Tried lodging a Missing Points Claim but it said "Sorry contact Virgin Contact Centre"

Only revenue tickets are eligible to earn SCs on travel and reward tickets are not given any SCs or miles , if that makes sense.
 
All good guys. That's a bummer. I had a QF Reward flight SC tracked last month so thought maybe even VA do so.
 
Dunno if I should write another post or ask here as its slightly related.

Planning another trip next year: Hba-mel-sin-bom business class reward one way
First flight's VA then onwards SQ - to be booked on Virgin's website. As both have a reciprocal agreement, will I earn any VA/KF miles or SCs or nil for this too?
