Delta Lounge - Sydney VA access

Hello All,
I’m heading to LAX in April on a Delta flight. I’m currently a Velocity Gold member and I’m a bit confused as to what lounge I can access in Sydney international prior to departure. Any help?

Flying Delta from Sydney airport, you can access the Skyteam Exclusive Lounge

Even if I booked via Delta direct and not VA? That’s the part I’m unsure of

It is to do with who operates the aircraft.
