Is that a good price for these wines?
Compared to ex-winery, no.
Compared to auction, +/-.
Compared to other retailers, via quick google, potentially.

Edit - looks like HDV sold out. Link no longer works

If anyone wants any I can get my hands on a few, I'll have to check the price but more than ed cellars

Anyone tried it? Know it has bs RRP but is it any good at this price
I think it's been spoken about here before, or a similar forum anyway? My 2 cents is @$320 no thank you, but at sub $50 and sub $40. I think its a nice wine to grab and I'm happy grabbing it at that price once in a while. I think I prefer the 2020 from recent tastings, but I think the 21 might just need to chill out in the cellar for a year or more and I'll pop another. Definitely a ymmv situation and what you are happy spending. It's not a must have at that price but just a price I'm happy enough to pay and feel like I get decent value out of it. Also makes for a handy break glass last minute gift!

I preferred First Pick 2021 to the Grand Pappy and went back for more of that. First Pick sold out a while back I think. But at under $40 the Grand Pappy is a pretty good buy.
1847/Yaldara Grand Pappy Barossa Shiraz $320-$60 14.9% 2021 - big oak, enough nicely ripe fruit, well-judged fine tannin, fades a bit on the finish. The First pick at the same price is a better wine.
