Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Thanks @MELso and @Learned_One, I'll keep an eye out for the specials (and register for LL which might prompt some emailed offers). The fact that I can get 5% off DM gift cards is another factor for wanting to buy through them. I can't find anywhere that does discounted LL gift cards - perhaps I'm overlooking some that include it in a line up of stores?

What @Learned_One and @MELso said.

Coles - wait for discounts as above. At Coles they stack! Sign up for Coles Plus Saver ($7/month) for 10%/$50 off. Your Pol'd already drop to $80.40 (for 6). Cancel subscription.
DMs - wait for discounts as above. Use Gift Cards for extra 5%+. They'll only kick 5-10c off competitor as 'Price Beat'.
BWS - wait for discounts and Shopback etc.

I will add it is also worth knowing the ins and outs of Liquorland's price match. Take them details of instore availbality at a competitor in your state, they will match. Then if you spend $250 or more you get a $50 off linked to your fly buys for next purchase. So this also creates 20% off, in a way.

Expanding on a few posts above I had great success with Dan’s pre XMAS using price beat - wait until they have 15% or even better 20% off sale then find cheapest price you can from any competitor then use their online chat bot and ask for a price beat - and your 5% discount GCs give an even sweeter discount top up 👍

I find it a good way to get discounts on products that are rarely discounted but as always each to their own and YMMV

I see todays SB discount is a mere 12% capped at $20. Given the relatively high prices at BWS to begin with, this isn't likely to yield much. Wondering what the reason/s for the reduction may be. My guess is that's related to number of orders <$100 they get on discount day.

Unavailable for delivery to mine unfortunately
Looks like you need to be in NSW? But perhaps you could do a parcel collect at AusPost, then after ordering hit up customer service and get them to redirect it to your actual address? This has worked for me within Victoria. Never tried it interstate though.

I did that before, so much dicking around to compensate Dan's shortcomings. I am in NSW
